Market-entry partners · Food · Beauty · Wellness

Taking your brand to a new market shouldn't feel like a gamble.

We help food, beauty, and wellness brands set up shop and grow in new regions. We don't charge heavy upfront consulting fees — instead, we work on a commission model. This means we earn only when you make sales, keeping us focused on delivering real results.

Going it alone in a new market usually looks like this.

Our Mission

Why we do this

Launching a brand in a new country is often complicated, expensive, and filled with trial and error. We want to change that.

Our goal is to make quality products more affordable and accessible for everyday consumers by cutting down on wasted resources and supply chain friction. We are starting this journey in Africa, where we believe we can make the most meaningful difference to local economies and communities.

Brands need new consumers, and consumers need new products — we exist to connect them efficiently.

How We Work

The five-step path into your next market

We break down the complex process of entering a new market into five simple, practical steps.

01

Understanding the rules and the competition

We look at who is already selling in the market, what they charge, and what local regulations we need to follow to get your products registered safely.

02

Choosing the right products and prices

Not every product in your lineup is a fit for every market. We help you pick the products most likely to succeed and price them so they are both competitive for consumers and profitable for you.

03

Finding reliable local partners

We introduce your brand to trusted local distributors whom we know personally, saving you months of searching and vetting.

04

Setting up fair agreements

We help negotiate the partnership terms so that both you and your local distributor feel respected, protected, and motivated to grow.

05

Staying connected with clear data

We set up simple communication habits and data-sharing systems so you always know how much stock you have, what is selling, and how the business is doing.

Why Choose Us

Built to share the risk with you

We share the risk

Because our model is commission-based, we are partners in the truest sense. If you don't sell, we don't grow.

We save you time

Instead of starting from scratch, you get immediate access to distributor networks we have spent years building.

We help you avoid costly mistakes

Having people on the ground means we catch local regulatory issues, pricing missteps, or cultural mismatches before they cost you money.

Global standards, local touch

We bring the organized, high-quality standards of major global consumer companies, but apply them with local, practical common sense.

With doubletap partners overcome new market obstacles and enjoy your market run.

About Aarthi

Aarthi spent years working inside global consumer brand powerhouses like Nestlé, ITC, and Whirlpool. She brings practical insights from her marketing, strategy, and innovation days in India, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa — with a business philosophy shaped during her MBA studies at INSEAD.

She started doubletap partners because she saw a gap: brands need new consumers, and consumers need new products, but they often struggle to connect efficiently. She uses her experience to bridge that gap, focusing on making new-market entry more practical, collaborative, and fair.

FAQ

Common questions, answered plainly

How does the commission model actually work?
There's no heavy upfront consulting fee. We agree on a standard category-specific commission tied to the sales your brand makes in-market, so our incentives stay aligned with yours from day one — we only do well when you do.
Which markets are you active in today?
We have active, well-established distribution networks in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Republic of Congo, Cameroon, and Gabon. We're currently building and vetting new partner networks across the rest of Western, Eastern, and Southern Africa.
What kind of brands do you work with?
We focus on food, beauty, and wellness brands looking to enter African markets for the first time, or to formalize and grow a presence they've only tested informally so far.
How long does a typical market entry take?
It depends on the product category and market complexity, taking between 3 and 6 months. Our five-step process — from regulatory and competitive research through to live, data-connected distribution — is built to move faster than starting from scratch, since we're not searching for distributors from zero.
How do we get started?
Request a meeting and we'll set up a casual exploratory conversation about where you want to go next. If you'd rather start with a preliminary self-assessment, download our New Market Launch Readiness Checklist first.
Are there any risks to my brand?
Every new market carries some risk such as those related to trademark, regulatory landscape, cultural relevance etc. With doubletap partners, you have people on the ground to catch these risks before they cost you reputation and money. At every step of the launch, we strive for alignment and transparency across all parties involved.
What if our brand wants to back out later?
It is logical and perfectly normal to consider options to grow or exit the market. We negotiate partnership terms upfront so both you and your local distributor feel respected and protected from day one. We're happy to talk through exit terms, before anything is signed.
